Our Mission: Facilitate the development of new innovations that flatten the COVID-19 curve and protect front line clinical staff across the MGB community and beyond

Our Co-Leaders

If anyone’s going to solve this, I think it’s going to be us. Let’s get to work to help our patients and our health care givers on the front lines.

The response has been overwhelming, everyone wants to help.

Gary Tearney, MD PhD

The focus is on assisting the clinicians, the lab personnel, the frontline health care workers and of course the patients.

This is not a research center, it’s an action center.

Devices Working Group Leaders

The Mass General Brigham Center for COVID Innovation is a collaborative endeavor co-led by Gary Tearney of Massachusetts General Hospital and David Walt of Brigham and Women’s Hospital. We currently have leaders from all across the Boston area in various institutions leading our working groups. Our extensive team includes scientists, inventors, administrators, engineers, and clinicians, all of whom are critical to making this effort possible.
